ABOUT ASTON MARTIN
Aston Martin's vision is to be the world's most desirable British ultra-luxury brand, creating the most exquisitely addictive high-performance cars.
Founded by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford, Aston Martin is recognized as a global iconic brand, synonymous with style, luxury, performance, and exclusivity. The brand fuses the most advanced technology, the most traditional craftsmanship, and a style of great beauty to produce a range of critically acclaimed luxury models, such as the Vantage, the DB12, the DBS, the DBX, and its first hypercar, the Aston Martin Valkyrie.
In line with its Racing. Green sustainability strategy, Aston Martin is also developing alternatives to the internal combustion engine, with the ambition to create the world's most exciting and desirable electric cars, the first of which will be launched in 2025.
Based in Gaydon, England, Aston Martin Lagonda designs, creates, and exports cars that are sold in 56 countries around the world. Its sports cars are manufactured in Gaydon, while its luxury SUV range, the DBX, is produced in St Athan, Wales. The company is on track to achieve net-zero emissions manufacturing facilities by 2030.
Lagonda was founded in 1899 and merged with Aston Martin in 1947, when both were acquired by the late Sir David Brown. Today, the company is listed on the London Stock Exchange as Aston Martin Lagonda Global Holdings plc.
In 2020, Lawrence Stroll became Executive Chairman of the company, accompanied by significant new investments. This coincided with Aston Martin's return to the pinnacle of motorsport with the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team, marking the beginning of a new era for the iconic British brand.
